About Me

My photo
I have discovered it is really hard to be Queen in a household with 3 princesses! Somebody is always borrowing my tiara! Well in between hunting my stuff down I am the proclaimed Queen in the Land of fluff (where my husband swears one day that he will die from glitter lung (you get the picture!) Besides that I am a dieting, exercising, crafting, biblestudying kind of girl.

Down 33 pounds!

I am very excited to report that I am down 33 pounds!!! Woo Hoo! This does my heart good! I have been working out about 2hours a day (total -not all at one time), and after I enter my calories for the day and my exercise (which on the LoseIt! site/app subtracts the calories burned from calories eaten) I try to keep the final number somewhere in between 800 and 1,000 calories per a day.
My favorite new thing to eat for breakfast is 1 packet of oat fit maple and brown sugar oatmeal, 1/2 T of peanut butter, 1 truvia packet, 1 tsp of flax seed-ground, and 1/4 tsp of cocoa powder. I get my fiber, I get my protein, I get my heart healthy omega 3, and best thing yet it taste like you are eating no bake cookies! This breakfast adds up to being 220 calories, but it keeps me full and gives me the correct fuel to work out!
If you are currently dieting or trying to cut back what do you like to eat for breakfast?

  1. Congrats! I have been trying, but failing miserably, not trying hard enough! You have inspired me, 2 HOURS A DAY????? WOW!!!! GOOD JOB!
My new favorite breakfast is a farmfresh egg, sunny side up (70 C), on an english muffin (100 C), with a slice of 2% american cheese (60 C)....total 230 C. I always start out GREAT, then I blow it :(.

  2. Wow - that is great!
I'm not dieting but I'm trying to be more careful. I've been eating Zone bars a lot of mornings just because I don't want to fix anything. But sometimes I pour a bowl of cereal (some kind of whole grain/flax blendy thing) and eat a cheese stick for protein.

  3. Hooray for you! That is awesome! I usually don't eat anything for breakfast. It seems that once I start eating, I can't stop. So the longer I can go before I begin, the better.

  4. Congratulations! I know how exciting that is. I've lost too but mostly I'm working on the exercise part of my diet. If I can get 30 minutes a day in, I feel pretty good!

    Keep up the good work!

  5. *~WOO HOO AMY LOU!!~* I am soooo proud of you!

I am certainly like an old lady when it comes to breakfast...I literally eat the exact same concoction every single morning (except sometimes on Sunday when I can hold off to eat the hot breakfast I make the fam before church)

Old Fashioned Oats made w/ flax seed, honey, a little brown sugar
    1 tsp of peanut butter
Thawed Triple Berry - get at Sams and keep thawed in fridge...delish!
Chopped Walnuts & Fiber 1 cereal sprinkled on top
    Tastes like *COBBLER!
I seriously canNOT live without it...I love it so!
